Smart Villages Africa conducted a free eye camp for the village cluster surrounding Muchende village, where over 100 people attended. Smart Villages Africa funded complete eye surgery for advanced cataracts for two children under the age of 10, at a cost of $2000. The surgery provided full vision to both children. This initiative was a significant step towards promoting eye health and providing medical aid to underprivileged communities. It is an excellent example of how small measures can create a big impact in people's lives. The free eye camp was an opportunity for Smart Villages Africa to spread awareness about preventing eye diseases and to encourage regular check-ups.
