Agriculture Interventions

Smart Villages Africa donates seeds to single mothers and vulnerable women in the village cluster . Also We are trying out Natural farming as a healthy source of producing vegetables in the cluster.

A long term plan would be to support the local farmers to adopt various emerging agricultural practices including drip water irrigation so that a two crop schema can be implemented in this rain fed crop area. Smart Villages Africa shall also support the farmers in the supply chain activities downstream into markets.
